These Pall syringe filters, with a pore size of 0.2um and a 25mm diameter, come in a pack of 50. Each individually blister packed and sterilized with ethylene oxide. They are specifically designed for the sterilization of media used in cell cryopreservation.
Constructed with nylon filter media in a polypropylene housing, they are compatible with solutions containing DMSO and various other solvents. Featuring a female Luer-lock inlet connection and a male slip Luer outlet connection, these filters operate at a maximum temperature of 55°C (131°F).
Manufactured under cGMP standards, they offer an effective filtration area of 2.8 cm2 and a typical hold-up volume of 50 uL with air purge. Additionally, they have a maximum operating pressure of 6.2 bar (620 kPa, 90 psi) and a typical water flow rate of 60 mL/min at 2.1 bar (210 kPa, 30 psi). Endotoxin levels are kept below 0.25 EU/mL, verified using the Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) test.
